Technology for Education in the Workplace

The Dean's Office has requested that all summer students complete a survey to assist in future decisions ragarding summer course offerings:

Technology for educational and workplace environments.  Teaching/learning paradigms that influence the application of educational technologies within the context of education and the workplace. 

The focus of this course is cultivation of knowledge and skills related to educational technologies useful in workforce development.  Participants will explore strategies for selecting appropriate educational technologies based on personal and organizational philosophies, goals, and objectives.  Skills to be developed include use of electronic presentation technologies and creation of World Wide Web materials.  Principles of visual design, presentation style, and effective communication will be emphasized.
