Hawk books available! $21.95

(more info)

Books can be purchased in Athens at Home Place, Frontier, State Botanical Gardens gift shop, Sandy Creek Nature Center, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, or directly from Diane Samdahl (dsamdahl@uga.edu) and Wanda White (706-208-0652).

Not in Athens? Books can be purchased online with a discount for purchasing multiple copies (click here). Allow 5-7 days for your books to be printed, plus shipping.

Note: The hawks decided not to remodel the old nest this year but opted to build a new one nearby. Someone else obviously needed their special blessing and they responded. Letty and Penny saw the hawks in the air a lot during the spring as they busily worked to feed their new family.

Swimming Pool: The pool is open and the water is wonderful. One way to enjoy it is to join the pool maintenance crew on one of their weekly endeavors. Their schedule is below but their work dates are flexible so contact them if you want to join in and help out.
