Workforce Education, Leadership, and Social Foundations


blueprint  pic This department prepares professional educators for career and technical education, social, cultural and historical studies in education and promotes the professional development of educational leaders and school-to-career transition.

With graduate programs in career and technical education perennially ranked among the top five in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, this department is led by faculty members who have received millions of dollars in external funding for their research. Funding sources include the U.S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation (NSF), Georgia Partners for Excellence in Education, Georgia Department of Education and Georgia Department of Technical and   Adult Education. Faculty have been recognized in their fields as outstanding scholars and have contributed to numerous scholarly publications.
