Torrance Legacy Awards in Writing and Visual Arts

Torrance Legacy Awards in Writing and Visual Arts

These annual international competitions encourage and reward excellence in creative writing and the visual arts.

Every child who submitted received a recognition through a certificate of participation signed by Nancy Green, John Kauffman of Scholastic Testing Service, and Joan Smutny. The very top winners in each category received a biography by Garnet Millar entitled E. Paul Torrance: The Creativity Man. All the winners will receive a book collection of the winning poems, stories, and art, as will members of the committee and the judges.
