Financial Support

TELL has provided financial support for the final two years of all TELL participants' programs.

Tuition and fees: Up to $5,000
Other expenses incurred: Up to $500.00
- While returning to school
  - TOEFL Exam
  - GRE or MAT Exam
  - Transcript Evaluation
    - By International Evaluation Agency
    - By the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC)
- During school
  - To become a certified teacher
    - GACE Exam (Content Area)
  - To manage additional costs, such as
    - Books and supplies
    - Parking fees for the University

*TELL scholars who do not complete their commitment to teach three years in a high needs public school in Georgia within five years of receiving their credential will be expected to repay funding.

THE PAUL & DAISY SOROS FELLOWSHIPS FOR NEW AMERICANS

The purpose of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is to provide opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished New Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields. The Program is established in recognition of the contributions New Americans have made to American life and in gratitude for the opportunities the United States has afforded the donors and their family.
