TELL Kick-Off Back-to-School Workshop at the Georgia Center

javier pictureThe May 21, 2003 TELL Scholarship Back-to-School-Workshop, which was held at UGA's Georgia Center, was attended by upwards of 50 people and covered the basics of the TELL scholarship program, such as eligibility requirements, as well as funding and teaching opportunities in Clarke county, Hall county and Gainesville City schools. Dr. Betsy Rymes and Dr. Misha Cahnmann spoke about the development of TELL and its impact on the bilingual, multicultural community in Georgia public schools. Representatives from ANSERS introduced their services and partnership with TELL.

group pictureThe workshop was TELL's formal introduction to the bilingual community and only the beginning of an intensive community building effort to attract eligible applicants to the TELL scholarship and teacher certification program. We encourage all visitors to check out the TELL website for further information. We look forward to getting to know each and every one of our wonderful applicants!
