    Gainesville Back-to-School Workshop

The September 10, 2003 back-to-school workshop was held in Gainesville in the International Center at the Fair Street Elementary School. There were 18 attendees including TELL scholars, parent liaisons, secretaries and provisional certified teachers.

This workshop was held to inform and recruit people for the TELL program. It was very successful with a wonderful turnout, good food, great conversation and lots of fun!

Dr. Betsy Rymes and Dr. Martha Alexsaht-Snider spoke about TELL academic support. Christine Burgoyne spoke about the different workshops that TELL will be hosting and helped to explain some of the future workshops designed to aid interested parties in completing exams such as the TOEFL.

TELL looks forward to future events such as this one to continue recruiting and supporting the TELL program!
