Second TELL Writing Workshop

On Wednesday, January 21, 2004, a group of TELL scholars met at UGA for some small-group writing instruction to help them toward their individual goals. Everyone agreed that it was a fun evening--as well as being useful. Students worked with instructor Janie Lineberger on vocabulary, paragraph writing, and the design of a typical reported story or incident. They also practiced some placement-test type grammar exercises, discussed sentence structures, and even went home with some optional homework to be submitted and graded by email if they wish.
