Martha Kristin is the Coordinator of the Educational Field Experiences office. She serves as the liaison between the College of Education and the schools/school systems in which The University of Georgia students are placed. Martha is also the UGA Coordinator for the COST Program (Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching).

Specific areas of responsibility include:

* Criminal background check

* Student Teaching - Information regard tort liability, processes applications, makes contacts with departments and school sites to secure placements. Prepares yearly contracts with participating school systems.

* COST - Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching - advises students through application process. Communicates with overseas coordinators as needed. Students are placed in 15 different countries for their semester of student teaching. Currently, UGA places approximately 12 students each academic year.
