The Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching Program (COST)
Requirements for Your Overseas Student Teaching
- You must attend two seminars following your application and prior to departure. Dates will be announced.
- You must communicate with the COST Coordinator at least four (4) times while in the overseas placement. This can be by e-mail, fax, U.S.Mail, or phone. (Grades could be withheld for failure to comply).
- Upon return, you must turn in the following before a grade will be given:
- required evaluation forms
- a portfolio of your student teaching experience
- a COST questionnaire
- a summary report of 2 - 3 pages suitable for publication in the College of Education newsletter relating the impact the experience had on your life and teaching perspectives.
You will receive instructions about all of the above in the seminars prior to your departure.
