- Students may only park in lots designated on their parking passes. Parking passes are issued by parking services.
- Visitors may park in the following lots:
- South Campus Parking Deck (South Lumpkin St.) - Pay lot
- Carlton Street Parking Deck (Carlton Street off of South Lumpkin) - Pay lot
TAKING COURSES AT ANOTHER INSTITUTION
- COLLEGE OF EDUCATION TRANSFER STUDENTS: http://www.coe.uga.edu/students/transfer.html
- If you are taking classes at a school in Georgia, you can find out how many of your classes will transfer by visiting the Transfer Equivalency Search on the Transfer section of the UGA Admissions page. The most common classes are listed on this site. If the class is not common, or if you are taking classes outside the state of Georgia, you should check with the admissions office or the specific department in which you wish to transfer.
- In order to take courses at another institution, you must register as a transient student. Check with the registrars office to find out details on how to do this.
DROPPING A CLASS DURING REGULAR DROP/ADD
- The official drop/add dates are listed in the "schedule of classes" booklet posted for each term. A copy of this book is available each term in the Student Services Office located in 122 Aderhold Hall.
- You can no longer add classes once drop/add period has ended. You may attempt to gain special permission from the professor of a particular course after drop/ add has ended. To gain special permission, contact Record Services and Registration Office, located in 105 Holmes/Hunter Academic. Graduate students should go to 550 Boyd Graduate Studies.
- If you wish to drop a class after drop/add has ended, you must withdraw from the class (a "W" will appear on your transcript).
- Log on to OASIS and follow the prompts to drop/add, or withdraw from a course.
- Make certain that you find out how dropping, adding or withdrawing from a course will effect your financial aid by contacting the Office of Financial Aid at (706)542-6147.
College of Education Lost & Found
- Valuables found in the College of Education are generally taken and kept in the Student Services Center in Room 122 of Aderhold Hall.
