Welcome to the College of Education! We are glad that you are interested in our college which is one of the most comprehensive colleges in the United States, offering more than 13 majors for Bachelor of Science in education degrees, 25 Master of Education degrees, 21 Doctor of Education degrees, and 18 Doctor of Philosophy degrees.

The University of Georgia’s College of Education graduates the largest number of teachers in the State of Georgia. Both the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education accredit our teacher education programs. Additionally, many of our health and human services programs are accredited by their national accrediting agency. Our graduate programs in Elementary Education, Workforce Education, Secondary Education, Higher Education Administration, Counseling and Personnel Services, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology, Special Education, and Administration and Supervision are nationally ranked.
