Field Experience

The Office of Educational Field Experiences (OEFE), housed in Student Services at 122 Aderhold Hall, serves as liaison between Educator Preparation Programs and the schools and school systems in which University of Georgia students enrolled in these programs are placed for observation, practicum, and student teaching experiences. OEFE works with faculty, staff, and students from the College of Education educator preparation programs as well as UGA/COE partner programs, making more than 2000 individual student placements per academic year. (A list of educator preparation programs with which OEFE works is posted at the bottom of this page.)
