Dr. Sherry Nichols introduced an inquiry activity that teaches many science process skills







In this part of the inquiry workshop, Dr. Carolyn Wallace listened to a teacher share and explain her group's results. Dr. Wallace presented an activity aimed to show how assumptions could be disproven by profiding evidence through experiments.



Cooperating teachers and student teacher participants tried designing and testing solar ovens, and inquiry activity introduced by Dr. Lorrie Hammond aimed to develop and test ingenuity in applying science principles.







Interpreting data and transforming data into graphical form could be taught as early as second grade and could be done in a participatory manner. This is what Dr. Deborah Tippins showed in this activity called "Glyphs".
