October minutes approved.

Committee Reports:

Newsletter: SRG Newsletter has been distributed out to COE.

Safety: No report.

Staff Awards/Social: The staff awards committee met and made plans for ceremony. This year the awards ceremony will be held again at the Callaway Building at the Botanical Gardens. A letter was sent out to various possible guest speakers. Betty Prickett sent Kirk the budget proposal for this year's awards ceremony. Kirk stated it would be after the first of the year before he and Dean Castenell would be able to meet to go over budget.

T-Shirt: No plans for December sales.

Chair Report: There is a possible plan to hire someone outside of UGA for typing up faculty evaluations.

USCR's Report: Brenda Keen is drafting letter explaining the issue of working on Christmas Eve. There will be a memo sent out on the results of concerns/votes on this issue.

Old Business: No report.

New Business: No report.

The next SRG meeting will be held on February 14, 2002. There will not be a January 2002 meeting because of everyone's hectic schedule.
