Staff Coffee Break
Our Staff Coffee Break, hosted by the Dean’s Office (216) last week was a huge success. We had somewhere between 45 and 50 people attend. Special thanks to Julie, Christa, Barry, Michelle, Ernise, Kate, Christy and Keith for providing refreshments, and to Cheryl for her collection, and to anyone else I may have forgotten, for contributing or stopping by to lend a hand. The Staff Representative Group encourages these coffee breaks to provide an opportunity for staff to engage in fellowship and to do something out of the ordinary, once a month, while on their breaks. I received more than 15 responses in appreciation of the 5-10 minutes of escape, as we talked about how beautiful the Autumn leaves were this year, and remembered how good spiced cider smells, and all the memories associated with these. Several new staff members attended and it was great to meet them and to show off our Staff Lounge…. It was great to see you all, and thanks for your participation.
