DR. PAUL SCHEMPP, ED.D., Lab Director

Dr. Schempp has held the title of Sportlab Director since the spring of 1992. He earned a doctor of education degree from Boston University in 1981 and has since served as a professor at Kent State University in Ohio , the University of Oregon , and the University of Georgia . Dr. Schempp also served as a Senior Fulbright Research Scholar at Johann Wolfgang GoetheUniversität in Frankfurt , Germany and was a visiting professor at the National Institute of Education in Singapore . Over his career, Dr. Schempp's scholarly contributions to the field of physical education have been immeasurable. As well, his work with expert sport instructors has advanced the knowledge base on teaching and learning to the extent that his own expertise is now in constant demand among some of the world's greatest teachers, coaches, and athletes.
