KAREN LUX
Karen Lux received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in 1998 and her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2000. She taught elementary physical education for six years in Greensboro, NC.
Karen is a third year PhD student with Dr. Bryan McCullick and is an aspiring teacher educator. Her research interests include the socialization of physical education teachers into the profession and the marginalization of physical education as a content area.
Her dissertation will investigate how an exceptional elementary PE teacher navigates her working environment as the teacher of a marginal subject. |
