Professional Development School Planning Group plans trip to South Carolina
On Feb 23 & 24 representatives from UGA and CCSD will travel to Columbia, South Carolina to visit Professional Development Schools that are in partnership with the University of South Carolina.
Professional Development School Planning Group visits GA State.
On Monday January 26, 6 UGA faculty, 6 CCSD employees and a representative of OneAthens visited two elementary Professional Development Schools that are in partnership with GA State: Nesbit Elementary in Gwinnett County and Dunwoody Springs Charter School in Fulton County. This visit will help the planning group develop an effective PDS.
Professional Development School Planning Group visits Chicago and Madison, WI
Kathleen DeMarrais, Janna Dresden, Mark Faust, Lew Allen, and Stephanie Jones, COE faculty, along with Noris Price, Sue Holt, and Toni Reed from the Clarke County School District, recently visited the University of Chicago, DePaul University, and the University of Wisconsin (Madison) to learn more about intensive university/school partnerships.
