Tiny Town's artistic atmosphere, full of textures and colors (green, red, blue, white, and silver) that blend with the surroundings, lends itself well to the affective dimension of learning. Tiny Town is surrounded by a color wheel, clock (sundial), and compass bench. Two children in the foreground ride a tricycle (No. 5  Fire Chief) and make-believe they are cruising the town on a fire truck. On the opposite side, the clock-tower, playscape provides a cognitive dimension for the study of direction and time.

Learning to share spaces and toys, as well as taking turns, provides for the child's behavioral development. Children learn about life in 'Tiny Town'.
