Educational Specifications

This page links to several examples of educational specifications. Educational specifications are the links between the desired program and school facilities. We need new research in this vital area to improve the overall place of educational specifications in the school design process. In many cases, 'architectural' has replaced 'educational' specifications. This may be the fault of educators. We can do a better job of defining program needs and designing schools for students, not school boards and architects.
