The beavers' mansion is located about 30 feet East of the dam. It sits at approximately the half-way point of the dam's length. The water-way shown in the view below provides quick access to the dam. The water in this area is cloudy, a good indication that the beavers have been active
The mansion overlooks the 7 acre estate which is decorated with water lilies. "Not bad for a beaver (or human)"!
