Crane's Nest

Beavers' Pond in May

A crane's nest, 40 feet above the water, rests on the branches of a dead cypress tree.

As the camera crew makes its way toward the beavers's dam, another view of the crane's nest becomes visible through the thick brush.

Near the thicket of brush, at the beginning of the dam which runs approximately 300 yards (North and West) into the wilderness, new signs of "beaver work" were found.
