Pitcher Plants
Not far from the beaver pond, in the humid climate of South Alabama, these endangered plants struggle for survival among reeds, marsh grass, and gall berries. Because they are located near an electric power line they also face the grim task of surviving herbicides sprayed on plants for weed control.
