STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM FEE ***$2717.00

 

Exchange rate fluctuation and/or inflationary conditions may necessitate that the program raise fees above previously advertised rates between the time of admission and the beginning of the program; however, this is avoided in any way feasible.

Includes lodging in student apartments with private bedroom and bath on University College Cork campus, insurance, orientation and departure, and some other meals, transportation to and from either Shannon or Dublin Airport (to be designated later) for arrival and departure, Cork city bus pass for 5 or 6 weeks, Cork City, County Cork, Gouganne Barra and other group tours, cultural events (e.g. entry fees to sports match, concert, etc.).

Note: Program fee is due in full by February 15, 2014

University of Georgia Tuition + Mandatory Fees (including institutional fee, technology fee, and green fee) – 6 semester hours:

Undergraduate: SPED 4440 and SPED 4800 ~ est. range of $2,100 - $2,250 *

Graduate: SPED 7440 and SPED 6800 ~ est. range of $1,800-$2,000 *

Out-of-state students pay in-state tuition plus $250 except SEC schools;

Students who are accepted to this program will be billed for the program fee, tuition, etc. directly through their UGA account (which is established upon acceptance to UGA).

Airfare Atlanta to Shannon ~ range of $950 - $1300
(Based on May 2013 Delta airfare from Atlanta to Shannon or Dublin Airports, two, one, or nonstop; participants arrange own flights; frequent flyer miles and 1 or 2-stop flights may be used to reduce cost)

Estimated Weekly Expenses ~ $300/week
(Groceries, meals out, laundry, bus/taxi, phone card, etc.)

Estimated Optional Weekend Excursion(s), Social and Cultural Events ~ Total: $850

Personal Expenses: Personal expenses will vary based on individual habits etc. By preparing and eating some meals in one’s apartment, taking lunches to work sites, etc. living costs can be considerably reduced.
