Project Outreach is currently in its second year of inquiry. Led by the Site Coordinator Lois Alexander and an 8 member leadership team. They are now conducting a critical action study, Documenting Child's Rights which include 17 teachers (Teacher Consultants and local teachers) partnering in schools in Clarke, Jackson, and Barrow counties. This is a community project where students will utilize technology to generate photo essays, digital literacy projects, digital storytelling, etc. Project Outreach will be hosting two retreats for the 2007-2008 year where their focus will be professional learning and writing. As a part of their action plan, they will engage in dialogue with the Peachtree Urban Writing Project on critical action research and professional learning.
