Camp Red Clay believes in the power of writing as a life skill. While acknowledging that standardized testing has increased the stakes for our students, we have created a camp that excites, enriches, and empowers students in their writing. During this week, we balance writing that covers the Georgia Performance Standards with writing activities that build on student interest, engagement, and creativity.

"[My daughter's] writing skills have truly been enriched by your program.  She received A's and B's in writing this year.  Her teacher empathized on how descriptive and imaginative her writing was in my parent/teacher conference class last night and I gave credit to Camp Red Clay." -- Jaclyn Brown
