Misconceptions in Chemistry Learning Community The focus of this learning community is the investigation of common misconceptions that students have related to chemistry and to discuss ways that P-16 faculty can help students overcome them. Through participation in this learning community, teachers and college faculty will expand their repertoire of content knowledge, teaching strategies, and assessment tools to assist students in developing intellectually sound understandings of the basic concepts in chemistry.
