East Jackson MS Mathematics and Science
The goals of this community are:
- To increase student achievement in math and science
- To increase teacher content knowledge
- To increase teacher use of research-based classroom practices
- To deepen teachers’ understandings of math and science and their ability
to implement interdisciplinary connection in the classroom - To develop a continuum of skill building for math and science from one
grade level to the next (6th – 12th) - To develop leadership for sustained improvement of instruction
- To transform schools into communities of learners
