East Jackson MS Mathematics and Science

The goals of this community are:

  • To increase student achievement in math and science
  • To increase teacher content knowledge
  • To increase teacher use of research-based classroom practices
  • To deepen teachers’ understandings of math and science and their ability
    to implement interdisciplinary connection in the classroom
  • To develop a continuum of skill building for math and science from one
    grade level to the next (6th – 12th)
  • To develop leadership for sustained improvement of instruction
  • To transform schools into communities of learners
