W.R. Coile Middle Science Learning Community
Students at Coile Middle School are struggling with the science
portion the CRCT, while teachers want to be sure they are successfully
implementing the new Georgia Performance Standards and preparing their
students for success. This group will participate in a book club using
“Inquiry Within- Implementing Inquiry-Based Science Standards”
by Douglas Llewellyn to equip teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary
to implement the new standards successfully. This group will also develop
and share a“best practices” science curriculum to increase
communication and collaboration among science teachers. Contact Shelley
