    • Evaluation of City of Decatur Children and Youth Services After-school Programs: The evaluation will provide information essential to increase the program’s impact on children’s health, fitness, academic, social, and behavioral development. A particular program focus is fostering skills critical for future success, such as problem-solving, collaborating, communicating, planning, and goal setting.
    • Evaluation of Forsyth County Schools’ U. S. Department of Education Investing in Innovation grant: The intent of the grant is to increase the achievement, decrease the dropout rate, and increase the graduation rate of high-needs students by personalizing instruction through the use of technology.
    • Evaluation of 21st Century Community Learning Centers After-School Programs

    • Evaluation of Georgia’s Supplemental Educational Services (SES) providers and services: Supplemental educational services include academic assistance such as tutoring, remediation, and other educational interventions provided outside the regular school day and designed to increase the academic achievement of students in low-performing schools.

    • Internal evaluation of the Georgia STEM Accessibility Alliance (GSAA): Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Alliance of colleges and universities strives to increase the presence of students with disabilities in STEM areas of study.

    • Randomized, multi-site evaluation of Communities in Schools of Georgia’s Adolescent Family Life Prevention Demonstration Project: The goal of the project was to reduce youths’ involvement in risky behaviors, specifically related to teen pregnancy.

    • Evaluation of Clarke County Schools’ Mathematics and Science Partnership Discovery Project: The project—funded by the U. S. Department of Education—was a collaborative between UGA and the school district to increase students’ academic achievement in mathematics and science by improving teachers’ knowledge and skills.

    • Evaluation of University of Georgia’s Art & Engineering Project: Funded by the National Science Foundation, the project was a joint initiative between the College of Education, the Lamar Dodd Art School, and the Faculty of Engineering to offer engineering courses that integrated instructional strategies designed to develop creative thinkers.

    • Evaluation of schools receiving Comprehensive School Reform grants: Funded by the Georgia Department of Education, the study assessed the impact of CSR on student achievement and how well 82 participant schools implemented their reform models and whether they continued their reform models after the end of the grant.

    • Evaluation of Georgia’s Reading First program: PEG monitored the implementation and progress of the federal program and measured its impact during the three years of funding.

    • Evaluation of UGA’s Children and Family Development Department’s Eat Healthy, Be Active program: PEG analyzed the data and provided feedback and recommendations for the department’s program to promote healthy eating and physical activity habits in children.

    • Evaluation for the Atlanta Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (AEJATC): PEG designed the evaluation system, created needed tools and instruments, and conducted an evaluation of the instructional staff.

    • Case study of the International Baccalaureate Organization’s Primary Years Programme authorization process and implementation in three Georgia schools: The study provided IBO with data to inform the development of the authorization process, to identify schools’ strengths and weaknesses during the process, and to guide new schools to promote their successful implementation of the program.

    • Analysis of Philanthropic Investment in Improving Teacher Quality: PEG created a database for the Ford Foundation with profiles of funders and the amounts they invested in improving teacher quality and instruction.

    • Development of Teacher Evaluation System for K-12 teachers in the state of Georgia: PEG collaborated with other University of Georgia faculty to develop the CLASS Keys teacher evaluation system for the state.

    • Research study of Learning Disabilities Eligibility Models used in higher education: PEG reviewed and evaluated the models and processes used to classify students’ eligibility for assistance and accommodations for learning disabilities for the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.

    • Bahamas Technical Vocational Institute Development Project: PEG worked with a group of educational experts to advise the Institute in restructuring and developing its administrative services.
