The UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national or ethnic origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, genetic information, citizenship, or status as a covered veteran.
The UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic is a fee-for-service, self-supporting clinic. With the fees collected, the clinic purchases needed supplies and pays for all or portions of clinical faculty and staff salaries. Assistance is available for clients with financial needs.
Insurance coverage is accepted for some services, as follows:
We are a Medicaid (Amerigroup CMO only) and Medicare provider for audiology services. We are unable to bill Medicaid for speech-language pathology services.
Our audiologists are network providers for Georgia Blue Cross Blue Shield. Clients should check with their insurance company regarding benefits for other insurance plans or services.
- A co-payment will be collected, if required by your insurance company.
