The Curriculum Materials Library, located in room 207 of Aderhold Hall, is a cooperative effort between the UGA Libraries and the College of Education. It houses curriculum materials for grades K-12 and an impressive collection of juvenile literature.
Students, teachers, and parents can find children’s non-fiction on nearly any topic, and a fantastic array of children’s and young adult fiction. Other materials available include DVDs, flashcards, educational games, and more. In addition, the library offers full library services, including GIL Express and Repository pick-ups, faculty deliveries, and reference conferences on a by-appointment basis. The Curriculum Materials Library is open to anyone visiting the facility, and faculty, staff, and students can borrow items with a photograph ID.x
Note: Most ERIC documents are still not available online. This does not apply to ERIC journal articles. The libraries own most of the ERIC documents in microfiche and these are available in the basement of the Main Library in huge cabinets marked ERIC. Documents are filed by ED number. If you need help with this, please email the library or call 706-542-2957. Not affiliated with UGA? Contact the Curriculum Materials library.
During the holidays when the Libraries are closed, book drops are available at the Main and Science Libraries. There is a book return bin in the small parking lot next to the Main Library. There is also a book drop slot within the Main Library: Come into the front entrance, pass through the gates and the book drop is at the end of the Circulation Desk on the left. For the Science Library there is a book return bin in the lobby of the Boyd Graduate Studies building as well as within the Library itself. The CML book drop is to the right of the CML entrance at 207 Aderhold. Don't worry about which Library to return items. Your account is updated campus-wide.
