The Osher Lifelong Institute at the University of Georgia is dedicated to meeting the intellectual, social and cultural needs of adults 50+ through lifelong learning. Founded in 1994 as Learning in Retirement, Inc., OLLI@UGA joined the national network of 118 Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes in 2009.Through classes, social activities, luncheon programs, travel/study opportunities, and Special Interest Groups, the Institute provides a variety of opportunities for older adults to stay active and engaged. A volunteer-driven organization, OLLI enriches the lives of mature adults in and around Athens and at our Washington, GA affiliate.
