About the TWT Team
The Teaching with Technology team provides support to all faculty and students of the University of Georgia, College of Education with their educational technology innovation and implementation needs. We maintain the technology in the classrooms, computer labs, Editorium, and the Digital Media Studio. Our group also provides support for eLearning Commons and Wimba systems.

Peter Norris
Senior IT Manager
Peter has been manager of TWT since 2007. He has B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, a M.A. in Educational Technology from San Diego State University, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Management of Nonprofit Organizations. Peter’s previous experience includes: application developer, multimedia developer/producer, instructional designer, and webmaster. A resident of Athens since 1996, he regularly bikes to work and is happy to help you fix your bicycle or any other technological problems you may have.
Ron Braxley
Digital Media Professional Associate
Ron has been a member of the OIT team since 1996. Ron is married and he and his wife have three dogs. He is both a UGA graduate and drop out. He can be considered a triple threat: short, tubby and balding. Oh yeah, getting old too.
Nic Holt
Coordinator of Training
Nic Holt, is a triple diamond dawg, having earned three degrees from UGA and currently serves as the coordinator of training for online teaching systems.
Jeff Rieter
Learning Systems Engineer
Jeff has been with the University of Georgia since 2002. He holds a Bachelors of Industrial Design and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Auburn University. Jeff is available to consult with faculty regarding matters of Online Instruction, the Learning Management System, Video/Web Conferencing and Digital A/V production. Active in the Athens music community, he contributes to several local/ regional music groups as well as producing the occasional remix.
