WebCT and eLC
WebCT and eLC are online learning management systems that aid students in their classes by creating, managing, organizing, and housing a Web-based learning environment. eLC will replace WebCT in January, 2010. The application that is the foundation for eLC is Blackboard VISTA. Faculty using these applications can post lecture notes, information, grades, and quizzes. Students and faculty can participate in chat areas and bulletin boards. Streaming media and podcasts can be shared as part of course content. Students can access these online resources at any time.
