About OIT Web and Application Development, Instructional Support, and Compliance
The Web and Application Development, Instructional Support, and Compliance unit of OIT is responsible for COE web development, application development, data collection, accreditation, and compliance with licensing and security standards.
COE Web Development - The OIT web development team designs, develops and maintains the COE web site, consisting of over 40,000 web pages that receive almost 1,000,000 hits per month.
COE Applications - Applications and Special Projects is responsible for the development and maintenance of COE-wide online applications such as the Faculty Activity Report, Faculty Staff Directory, and Online Course Evaluations.
Custom Web Sites - The COE web development team designs, develops, and maintains web sites for special projects or grants.

Online Surveys - A&SP creates online surveys and data collection tools for COE data collection and grants through the use of Facilitate, an online collaboration tool.
Technology Fee Planning - A&SP assists with the development and oversight of the student technology fee budget.
Software Compliance - AS&P manages all software licensing for the COE classrooms and computer labs and is a resource for COE faculty, staff, and students when licensing questions come up.
Podcasting - A&SP, along with the Instructional Services team, has just begun the "DawgPod" project, providing assistance and support to COE faculty, staff, and students in the world of podcasting.
Accreditation Support - Applications and Special Projects manages the COE eExhibit for accreditation reporting and on-site visits.
