Mission Statement
The Office of College Advancement in the College of Education at the University of Georgia leads the College’s efforts at building reputation and securing private resources. Reporting to the dean of the College, the OCA carries out its mission daily by managing the College’s visual identity, developing communication materials, corresponding with the news media, hosting events and programs for alumni, and developing relationships with key donors and prospective donors.
Goals:
- Raise annual, major, and planned gifts in support of the College and its programs from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Raise and enhance the local and national reputation of the College through communications and marketing initiatives
- Maintain and enhance good relations with the College’s 50,000+ alumni and friends through programs, events, and publications
