- Provide flexibility and funding for the dean to make critical and timely strategic investments.
Here is why I give:
Lois Shortt

“We had many wonderful years at UGA and in Athens. It felt like it was the right thing to do to honor our years of being a part of such a special place—a place where we grew as young adults, a place where so many of our dreams were formed, a place where they began to come to fruition, a beginning to a life that would become one of success for both of us and we treasure those years that we spent there together.”
—Lois Shortt (BSEd ’46)
Lois Shortt’s gift to the College of Education will create the William J. and Lois J. Shortt Fellowship Endowment that will fund fellowships for up to five graduate students each year. William Short (BBA ’48) died on April 7, 2010.
Will Robinson
“I donate to the College of Education and department of kinesiology to support both the ongoing research that yields valuable scientific data for the rehabilitation community and newly developing programs which produce stronger candidates to enter into the allied health professions.”
—Will Robinson (BSEd ’95)
Will Robinson’s gifts to the College of Education funds critical discretionary needs including research and program support each year. Will currently resides in Seattle, WA.
