To be considered in the program, nominations must meet the following requirements:
- The nomination must be submitted electronically to Hayes Tilson (htilson@uga.edu) by the deadline of February 1.
- The nominee must be a graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Education who has received an undergraduate or graduate degree, or be a friend who provides private support to the College.
- The nominee must operate in keeping with the values and image of the University of Georgia.
- The nomination must include the following:
- Current curriculum vita or resume
- Letter from nominator stating the reason for nomination
- One (1) professional letter of reference
- One (1) additional letter of reference (may be personal or professional)
Special Note: The UGA College of Education reserves the right to verify that nominees meet the criteria and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any nominee for any reason. Any nominations submitted after the deadline will be considered during the selection process for the following year. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
