NSSLHA General Meeting Minutes
November 19, 2003, 6:30 p.m.
Aderhold 102
-The meeting was called to order by Carlton Faircloth
~26 members were present
Old Business:
-Jessica Fleischer discussed the Package for the Troops project.
-We raised $125.00 for packaging, and collected a
lot of goodies for our troops.
-Jennifer Williams brought us up to date on the Hearing Screening project,
which was a great success. Thanks to all who participated in these events!
New Business:
-The Winter Holiday Party will be December 8, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.
-It will be held at Linda Lauderdale’s House
-A sign up sheet was passed around for refreshments
-Directions to be announced.
-The website is up and running.
-Marla Parker discussed the information available on the
website.
-Address: www.coe.uga.edu/nsslha
-Marla discussed possible Chick-Fil-A fundraisers.
-Calendar sales
-Biscuit sales
A vote was taken on the calendars (15 votes), and a vote was taken on the
biscuits (17 votes)
-Both motions passed
-Carlton discussed possibly creating graduate school files as an available
resource.
-Seniors were asked to save all their graduate information
-It will start next semester
-Spotlight Star Students of the month:
Motion was passed that the Spotlight Student of the previous month would
make the first nomination the following month.
-Erin Weddle nominated Jessica Fleischer (Senior)
-Michelle Lindsey nominated Jennifer Williams (Junior)
-Carlton Faircloth also nominated Juniors Kameron Steiniger
and Lindsay Yarbrough

Our next NSSLHA general meeting will be held January 21, 2003 at 6:30 p.m.
in Aderhold 102.
