Online Guide to Accredited Graduate Schools - This Guide, a collaborative effort of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Council of Graduate Programs in Communication Science and Disorders (CGPCSD), profiles masters degree programs in speech-language pathology and/or audiology that are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of ASHA, doctoral programs in speech and hearing science, and other Web sites with useful information on higher education programs in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

FinAid - The Financial Aid Information Page - A very broad and detailed resource for financial aid information. Contains guides for those in search of Federal grants, scholarships, loans, and fellowships.

The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administration - Click on Information for Students, Parents, and Counselors. Provides links to numerous sites where you can find out more on applying for financial aid and loan programs.

The College Board Website - Gives a wide range of search options for students at any level who are gathering information on colleges, scholarships, loans, internships, or financial aid programs.

Financial Aid Search Through the Web - Here you can set up a fastWEB mailbox where you can regularly check for updates on new awards and scholarships that might apply to you. You can also create a personal search based on the profile you provide.
 

Writing A Statement of Purpose

The Statement of Purpose/Intent/Reasons for Graduate Study - You have various reasons for wanting to apply to graduate school. The programs to which you are applying want to know what those reasons are. So they ask you to write a statement, variously known as a Statement of Purpose, Statement of Intent, Statement of Reasons for Graduate Study, etc.
