NSSLHA General Meeting Minutes
February 18, 2004, 6:30 p.m.

~12 members present
Carlton Faircloth called the meeting to order.

Old Business:
Secretary’s Report – minutes read
Treasurer’s Report – our current balance is: $1,076.76.
Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit sales
    Total profit of $20.00
Members were asked to turn in any calendars or money they received from the sales.

New Business:
The NSSLHA Banquet and Senior Brunch are quickly approaching.
Juniors are responsible for collecting items for the silent auction to be held during the Banquet.
 The Senior Brunch will be held the morning of the College of Education commencement ceremony at Trumps.
Members will be needed to help with the planning of these two events.

We discussed possible fundraisers for the Speech/Hearing Clinic.
    Cake/Bake Sale
    March 31st, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Silent Auction
    Members were asked to donate a cake and/or baked goodies.

Jennifer Williams brought us up-to-date on the Better Hearing and Speech Awareness Month.
    April 23 – Hearing Screening on the 5th Floor of Aderhold

Carlton announced that for our next meeting we will have a special guest speaker!

Our next meeting will be March 17, 2004 at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting ended at 6:50 p.m.
