New heat policies on prep football take effect, WSAV-TV reports

New heat policies on high school football practice take effect this week, reported NBC affiliate WSAV-TV in Savannah on July 25. The policies were developed by UGA College of Education researchers after a two-year study and were adopted by the Georgia High School Association last spring.
