Four COE graduates make ’40 Under 40′ Class of 2013

Four College of Education graduates were named to this year’s University of Georgia Alumni Association’s “40 Under 40″ class.

Deal names COE alumna Erin Hames policy chief

COE alumna Erin Hames (BSEd ’02) was named Gov.-elect Nathan Deal’s deputy chief of staff for policy. Hames earned a bachelor’s in social science education from UGA and later received a law degree from Georgia State University. Reports of her appointment appeared in media around the state including the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s “Get Schooled” blog, Fox 5 Atlanta TV station, Georgia Public Broadcasting, and The Weekly Online.
