Longtime mathematics teacher Trevor Thomas (EdS ’97), who got his specialist degree in mathematics education from UGA,  writes that there are inherent flaws in how Georgia and the Common Core Standard teaches math in the “Get Schooled” blog of the August 20 issue of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
