COE student a hit as opener for Maya Angelou

Megan Pendleton, a student in the College Student Affairs Administration program in the College of Education’s Department of Counseling and Human Development won an online audition of her poetry/spoken word piece to be the opener forĀ poet Maya Angelou who spoke at the UGA Chapel on February 5.
Pendleton won the honor by being the student who gained the most “Likes” on the Week of Soul Facebook page.
