The UGA College of Education is mentioned in a December 4 article in THE Journal about Forsyth County Schools’ partnership to develop a new instructional framework, the Engage Me – P.L.E.A.S.E (Personalized Learning Experiences Accelerate Standards-based Education) program.
The program is funded by a federal Investing in Innovation (I3) grant awarded in 2010. Forsyth County was one of just 12 public school districts in the nation to receive the grant. The Program Evaluation Group in UGA’s College of Education serves as the external evaluator for the project.
The PEG group includes: Noel Gregg (PI), Allan Cohen (co-PI), Jana Thompson and Scott Pollack.
Forsyth’s partnering with ItsLearning, Inc., and UGA was also reported in a December 3 article in eSchool News.
