Peter Smagorinsky, UGA Distinguished Research Professor in English Education, writes another profile in his series highlighting Great Georgia Teachers in the Atlanta Journal Constitution‘s “Get Schooled” blog on January 24. This one focuses on Mark Weese, a science teacher at Ebenezer Middle School and Effingham County’s Teacher of the Year. Weese is a former UGA student and cross-country track athlete.
