UGA Multimedia: CLASSroom Project reaches across Georgia

Published in ESSE, On the Air

The CLASSroom Project encompasses research, service and teacher education programs which aim to end classism in all of its forms in schools. Since its launch in 2010 by College of Education professor Stephanie Jones and colleague Mark Vagle, now an associate professor at the University of Minnesota, the project has reached 1,000 educators and served 25 counties across the state of Georgia.

Here is a sneak preview of a 4-minute multimedia presentation on the project by UGA photographer Dot Paul that will be published online with a story in the December 2012 issue of Georgia Magazine.
